Top 10 Dubrovnik, Split & Trogir
„… those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik“ (George Bernard Shaw)
It was my long-time dream to visit Dubrovnik and the Adriatic coast. So was it for my best friend Maria, and we decided to go there and explore it together!
I this blog I would like to share with you my top 10 tips for places to visit and things to do while you’re in Dubrovnik and Split.
1. The Old City of Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is the pearl of Adriatic. The moment you see it, you understand why.
The main entrance to the Old City is from the Pile Square. Take a long walk around, and also up and down inside the walls of the beautiful Old City. The most interesting destinations are the Main Street, the lively Dubrovnik harbor, the Renaissance Sponza Place, dates from the 16th century, the Gothic-Renaissance Rector’s Palace, the St. Blaise’s Church, Dubrovnik’s Baroque Cathedral, the St. Savior Church and the Francisian Church and Monastery, which bell-tower is visible from everywhere.
